OAKLAND — If the 2019 NBA Finals were an action movie, we would be most of the way through the first act. Just as they are celebrating a surprising early success, the scene cuts to show what else is in store. After two games in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Raptors didn’t look like they had any answers for Giannis Antetokounmpo and his army of shooters. That isn’t a knock on Toronto: no team has managed to do it in the playoffs since Durant came to the Bay Area. Golden State coach Steve Kerr has refused to be baited into saying how Durant would help them in the Finals, and the ways in which they miss him on the court.
