A staff member at an Auckland school has been charged and suspended from work after allegations of sexual abuse against a male student. The New Zealand Herald has learned that police started investigating the male staffer after the allegations came to light this month. "Police are working with a school after allegations have been made against one of its employees," he said. "Police are investigating a matter which involves a staff member and a student from the school. "The staff member was immediately stood down and then suspended.
