No-one was injured in a crash between a school bus and a car in Frankton, Queenstown, on Tuesday morning. A school bus and a car have crashed head-on near Queenstown as the region is hampered by wintry conditions early on Tuesday morning. The crash happened at the intersection of Frankton-Ladies Mile Highway (SH6) and Joe Oconnell​ Drive, near the Queenstown Events Centre in Frankton, about 8.40am on Tuesday. One lane was blocked and some fuel was leaking from the car, a police spokeswoman said. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said a crew from Queenstown was sent to help police at the scene.
