The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Schneider Electric-Egypt & Northeast Africa to establish and equip an engineering laboratory at the Borg El Arab technological park. The cooperation also focuses on developing scientific research, as a first step in the company’s plan to be present in all technological parks in Egypt. This MoU provides that the company will establish an engineering lab equipped with a 3D universal simulator for design of multi-axis motion machines. ITIDA will be responsible for organising training programmes for university students at the innovation cluster at the technological park in Borg El Arab. The lab would contribute to developing the engineering skills for professionals, entrepreneurs, and students as one of the services provided by the company.
