FEDCOC member and head of the computer and software division, Khalil Hassan Khalil, said that the initiative aims to link the needs of SMES in Egypt and major global and local companies to provide jobs for all parties. Senior vice president of the division, Mohamed Salem, noted that an integrated plan is being prepared. This aims to provide trained experts who can fulfil their roles more professionally in the fields of distribution, maintenance, technical support, outsourcing, and project implementation, development, and services. The initiative is supported by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). Furthermore, Azzam stressed that most of the SMEs that will qualify through the initiative are promising companies that offer maintenance and technical support to global companies and major national enterprises.
