Actress Scarlett Johansson is totally taken aback that OpenAI has rolled out a chatbot sounding just like her, even though she had declined their proposal to be the voice of an AI project last year. In a statement, the 39-year-old actress said she was approached by the AI company in September last year. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, had told Scarlett that her involvement in the AI project could serve as a bridge between technology companies and creative professionals. "He said he felt that my voice would be comforting to people," she said in the statement.
