The end result was a 3-0 shutout by Everett over Saskatoon in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night at SaskTel Centre. “We prepared them in terms of what to expect tonight,” said first-year Blades head coach Mitch Love, a former Silvertips assistant coach, after losing to his former team. “I’ll be honest to you and I don’t think the message before the game changed anywhere on the ice tonight. Akesh Bains, Dawson Butt and Riley Sutter, with an empty-net goal, scored for Everett, which led 1-0 after the first two periods.
