A 41-year-old man from Grayson, Saskatchewan has been charged with making threats against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over social media. On July 13, the RCMP received a second similar complaint. The RCMP said there was no direct contact between Hayes and Trudeau, and that the investigation is ongoing. On March 30, The RCMP National Security Enforcement Section began an investigation after a complaint was received that a man was making threats against the prime minister. In this instance we became aware of these alleged threats, conducted an investigation and laid charges against one person,” said Supt.
