Saskatchewan man charged with impaired driving causing death following crash


— A man from the Melfort area has been charged with impaired driving causing death following a crash northeast of Saskatoon. RCMP say a car and a truck collided Saturday night on Highway 789. A 36-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car was flown to hospital in Saskatoon with unknown injuries. Police say the driver of the truck ran away from the crash scene but was arrested later. Troy Tolofson, who is 46, is also charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm, failing to remain at the accident and resisting arrest.
