McLachlan talked to The Canadian Press about preparing to join the Hall of Fame and whether she's considered writing a protest song to support recent women's marches against U.S. President Donald Trump. CP: When it comes to Canadian music honours, the Hall of Fame is pretty much the pinnacle. I don't usually say, 'I'm going to write a song about this.'
