Sara Duterte’s HNP also forges alliance with People’s Reform Party

After forging an alliance with former president Joseph Estrada-led Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) party, the political party of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Monday officially sealed an alliance with People’s Reform Party (PRP) of the late senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago. Duterte-Carpio said Hugpong ng Pagbabago’s (HNP) alliance with PRP would help the senatorial candidates supporting the administration of her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, in the coming 2019 midterm elections. HNP had formed alliance last August with three other national parties: Villar’s Nacionalista Party (NP), the National People’s Coalition (NPC), and National Unity Party (NUP).
