At the heart of the park, the tree-trunk design stands out as a breathtaking feature, immediately commanding attention upon entry. During a tour with GhanaWeb’s Ernestina Serwaa Asante, a park guide explained how the inspiration behind the tree-trunk design shaped the creation of this remarkable monument. He added that the structure was inspired by this concept, which is why Dr Kwame Nkrumah was buried beneath the edifice, symbolising him resting under the shade. Quao further disclosed that the architect responsible for the design of the edifice, Dr. Don Abba, is still alive.
