Crime & Punishment of Sunday, 8 March 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced that it has begun a probe into the death of Kweku Mensah, a student who was involved in a road accident on campus. The motorcycle reportedly collided with an Ayalolo bus, and the student sustained serious injuries. "Preliminary information indicates that the student was riding a motorcycle to retrieve his identification card from Oguaa Hall for a scheduled examination. The student was rushed to the UCC Hospital, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead after efforts to resuscitate him failed,” parts of the statement read. “The matter has been reported to the UCC Police and the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) for investigations.
