Sanjay Subramaniam performing a vocal concert at the annual music festival of Tamil Isai Sangam in Madurai. The main raga for the RTP was Karaharapriya, which had the strains of Sahana and Behag. He unfolded the same with grandeur and focused on the elements of the raga bhava and range. He went on to sing ‘Pitham Theliya,’ sung by M. M. Dhandapani Desikar in Nandanar. The singer, violinist S. Varadharajan and mrudangist Palladam Ravi seemed completely attuned to one other throughout the concert.
