Share TweetBy Czarina Nicole Ong KiThe Sandiganbayan Seventh Division has given former Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Joseph Felix Mari “Ace” Hotchkiss Durano to travel to Australia this June 2019. Even if Durano fails to return from his trip, the Sandiganbayan said his trial will still proceed as scheduled. The former tourism secretary has been slapped with a graft charge due to the reportedly anomalous purchase of the P2.7-million DOT Wall Calendar back in 2008. In the said resolution, the BAC chairman and members, who are Durano’s co-accused, recommended the alternative mode of procurement for PDP Digital Inc.
