Maria Nieza Viray and Cesca Racraquin took turns finishing with 26 and 25 points, respectively, as the Lady Red Spikers booked their fifth straight victory in as many outings. JRU, however, made heads turn in the juniors class after it surprised leading team San Beda 16-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9, landing on the fifth spot with a 3-2 card. San Beda, who came to the game as the favorite after steamrolling its first four opponents, ended up with its first defeat. In the men’s section, JRU trounced San Beda, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 28-26, to improve to 2-3.
