Samsung is set to announced a new Galaxy A-series smartphone in the Indian market this month. A Samsung official confirmed to Mint that the South Korean company will launch the Galaxy A80 smartphone in India this month. The Samsung Galaxy A80 was globally unveiled at an event in Thailand in April this year. The company has so far launched six models in the Galaxy A series — Galaxy A50, A30, A20, A10, A70 and A2 Core. According to Sammobile, the Galaxy A80 is priced at €649 (about ₹50,000) in European markets.
