Egypt international footballer and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah ceded his Man Of The Match award (MOTM) for the game against Bournemouth to his teammate James Milner, who marked 500 appearances in the Premier League with Saturday’s game. Hat-trick hero @MoSalah refuses to take his Man of the Match award and hands it over to @JamesMilner on his 500th Premier League appearance. “Hat-trick hero Salah gave up his man-of-the-match award to James Milner on the midfielder’s 500th Premier League appearance,” Sky Sports reported. He deserves it today, and I hope we are going to win something this season together, but I will not take [this award],” Sky Sports quoted Salah as saying. Salah didn’t return home empty-handed on Saturday, as he took the match ball after a clinical hat-trick against Bournemouth.
