In a statement to Majority whip Katoo Metito on Wednesday, the Nominated MP cited "numerous responsibilities" of another committee. The MP also cited "numerous responsibilities" arising from his position as a member of the Budget and Appropriations Committee. Johnson Sakaja has resigned from the Finance committee and recommended Mwingi North's John Munuve as his replacement.
