Sixth Sense Ventures too has invested in Ethos, a retail chain for luxury watches, and JHS Svendgaard, an oral care products maker. She, along with Sixth Sense, a $50-million fund founded by former IDFC Securities MD Nikhil Vora, will hold a minority stake in the two-year-old startup. BENGALURU: Consumer-centric fund Sixth Sense Ventures, along with badminton star Saina Nehwal , has invested about $2 million in Soothe Healthcare, a feminine hygiene healthcare platform that manufactures sanitary napkins under the brand 'Paree'.This is Nehwal's first investment in any company. Bollywood and cricket stars have cut deals in India's startup ecosystem, of late.The Noida-based company was founded by Sahil Dharia after quitting as global head of research at Thomson Reuters in 2012. He previously worked in various roles at UBS investment bank and SRS Enterprise in New York.
