Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Haftar’s forces, Saddam Haftar, held talks on Monday in Benghazi with Turkey’s Ambassador to Libya, Güven Begeç, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation. According to Haftar forces’ media office, the meeting covered a range of issues of mutual interest, with both sides discussing ways to expand cooperation across different sectors in a manner that serves shared interests. Earlier, the Turkish ambassador met with House of Representatives Speaker Aguila Saleh, where he delivered an official invitation for a visit to Turkey in the coming days.
