KOTA KINABALU: Ten secondary school students were picked up by police on Monday over a viral video where a student was beaten up at a field. Kunak police chief Supt Mohd Nasarruddin Nasir said that the students seen in the video were being brought in to have their statements recorded. “I have also talked to the parents of the students involved,” he said when contacted on Monday. He, however, declined to say what triggered the attack which is believed to have happened last week. A Sabah Education Department official said that the probe was being left to the police to investigate.
