SWS: Self-rated unemployment drops in second quarter of 2018MANILA, Philippines — The number of unemployed Filipinos dropped by 2.3 million in the second quarter of the year, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed. ‘”The Build Build Build program is gaining ground. Bello said the Build Build Build program is expected to generate more jobs, particularly among construction workers. Adult unemployment also fell by 8.5 points in overall rural areas, from 24.8 percent in March to 16.2 percent in June. Adult joblessness fell by 7.1 points among non-poor families, from 24 percent in March 2018 to 16.9 percent in June 2018.
