When SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning hit the screens in 2015, it posed a serious threat to Bollywood, which continues to dominate Indian cinema. With Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, it's safe to say that SS Rajamouli has broken the norm, as the highest grossing Indian film is from a 'regional' industry. On its second week, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion grossed Rs 390.25 crore and has surpassed the lifetime collection of superstar Aamir Khan's Dangal, which netted Rs 375 crore. In Tamil Nadu, Baahubali 2 is inching close to Rs 100 crore, while the film collected more than Rs 250 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film has done a fantastic business in Kerala and has collected Rs 50 crore so far.
