SNP MP Steven Bonnar became embroiled in a row about a "square go" on the social media platform X. The Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill MP was responding to criticism over a picture he posted of himself at a pro-Palestine protest outside Westminster. Mr Bonnar posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, praising his colleague Tommy Sheppard for giving a speech at the protest. This drew Mr Bonnar's attention as he responded: "erm, that was Chris Law, and are you offering like?"
