Those affected so far include Itierio Boys, Nyamache Boys, Omobera Girls, Magena Boys, Naikuro secondary, and St Peters Nyamesocho. The incident comes barely two weeks after seven dormitories were razed at the neighboring Itierio Boys High School. Property of unknown value was on Sunday destroyed when fire gutted a dormitory at Itierio Girls High School in Bonchari sub-county Kisii. Speaking at the institution, Ayega urged police to expedite investigations and bring to book those involved. The 10.30am fire happened when all students and teachers were attending Sunday mass at the institution.
