Ruia is being tried in the 2G spectrum case in a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in New Delhi and is currently on bail. Khehar and Arun Mishra refused to allow Ruia to travel to Moscow and Britain for business engagements. The rejection follows the CBI court’s rejection of another request to travel to London to meet his family in February.
