ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has been moved for immediate suspension of National Assembly (NA) membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and to remove him from the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). The petition said that the constitution does not entitle the speaker NA to make special consultations with the premier. The petitioner asked to court to ask the NA speaker how the public money is being spent in millions on Shehbaz’s travelling, security and medical treatment. “There is no limit to generosity in Punjab province and the prisoners are being meted out princely treatment,” the petition stated. Citing an English proverb “Like father, like son”, the petitioner slammed Hamza Shehbaz too besides his father Shehbaz Sharif.
