A bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and D.Y. Justice Misra cut him short and said: "We are recording his (Venugopal's) presence. Justice Chandrachud said: "It has become a fashion to file petitions to gain publicity. We cannot intervene like this," Justice Chandrachud remarked. The PIL has sought a special investigation team to probe the Nirav scam.
