SAFA in the Mopani region, Limpopo, has sent a strong message to their local teams that they will not tolerate any form of corruption. The SAFA Mopani region, led by Vincent Ramphago, a SAFA NEC member and head of competitions in Limpopo, summoned all four clubs to a DC hearing late last month in Giyani. SAFA handed 5-year suspensions to officialsThey were all charged and found guilty of contravening SAFA rules. In the verdict, the region has banned all four clubs involved in the two matches from all football activities for breaching SAFA rules. The officials implicated from both clubs have also been given five-year suspensions from all football activities within the Mopani region.
