During the interview, Ruto denied that he had anything to do with the murder of government critic Jacob Juma. Juma had in 2015 tweeting that the Deputy President had laid a plan to assassinate him. Deputy President William Ruto has asked the opposition to develop an alternative government for Kenyans. Speaking on a live TV interview Tuesday evening, Ruto told opposition leaders to show Kenyans what they have as the alternative government. Ruto was commenting on the opposition's demand that President Uhuru Kenyatta should crack the whip and send IEBC commissioners packing.
