In healthcare, the Mother and Baby Hospital at Kapseret County Referral Hospital is now 90 per cent complete at a cost exceeding Sh500 million. Kapsabet County Referral Hospital has expanded to include a 16-bed ICU—the only such facility outside Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in the region—reducing the need for residents to travel to Eldoret for specialised care.
