Luxury blended whisky brand Royal Salute is sending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a regally boozy present. The Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition is a blended Scotch made specifically for the purpose of celebrating today’s royal celebration. Royal SaluteHowever, the Royal Salute team, and especially Chivas Brothers master blender Sandy Hyslop, have included many touches acknowledging the life and heritage of the couple. This whisky marks the first time that Royal Salute has created a release matured entirely in American oak barrels, a nod to the bride’s American heritage. Included in the mix of whiskies are also 33 and 36 year old whiskies, in honor of their ages.
