Rollback in pump prices effective July 19OIL companies have announced a rollback in pump prices effective Tuesday, July 19. Pilipinas Shell Petroluem Corp., PTT Philippines, and Phoenix Petroleum will implement the same price rollback but with effect at 6 a.m., July 19. Eastern Petroleum, Seaoil, Flying V and Caltex will slash the prices of gasoline by 55 centavos per liter and diesel by 75 centavos per liter at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday. Most local oil companies will have implemented a price rollback in gasoline by 80 centavos per litter as at July 19, according to recent data from the Department of Energy, while the other firms had effected a rollback a 90-centavo price rollback per liter, although no movement can be expected in their diesel and kerosene prices. Caltex will likewise bring down the price of kerosene by 75 centavos per liter.
