A Rohingya mother and her daughter finally found each other during one of the long queues for relief items near Kutupalong Rohingya refugee camp on September 22. It became clear after a while that it was an unpredicted reunion of a mother and daughter. The two Rohingya women were separated during a crackdown by the Myanmar forces a couple of weeks back. I have witnessed many sad incidents involving Rohingya refugees in this short while. One Talha Jobayer Sajib expressed his reaction on Samad’s Facebook post, saying that the mother and the daughter were the happiest people on earth at that particular moment.
