Former Kings goaltender Rogie Vachon was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame, a long-awaited honor for the man whose excellence carried the Kings through some tough seasons. He had 134 goals and 384 points in 424 NHL games with Calgary, San Jose and Dallas. He retired after the 2006-07 season with 372 goals, 865 points and 1,398 penalty minutes in 760 NHL games. The announcement was made Monday in Toronto at the Hall of Fame. Vachon, 70, won 355 games in 16 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, the Kings, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Boston Bruins.
