Robert Irwin chokes back tears as he and mother Terri appear on Sunrise to discuss bushfire crisis

And Robert Irwin - the 16-year-old son of late 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin - became emotional on Monday while discussing how the Australian bushfires have affected native wildlife. Appearing on Sunrise alongside his mother, Terri, the teenager fought back tears as he described the injuries sustained by animals due to the fires. 'Our Wildlife Hospital is busier than ever though, having officially treated over 90,000 patients,' she continued. 'My parents dedicated our Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to my beautiful grandmother [Lyn]. We will continue to honour her by being Wildlife Warriors and saving as many lives as we can.'
