RAWANG: Robbers took off with about 10 trays of jewellery worth an estimated RM1.5mil at a goldsmith's shop located in a hypermarket here. Gombak Deputy OCPD Supt Tey Kong Seng said police believe that six suspects were involved in the robbery that occurred at about 3pm on Friday. Supt Tey said four of the suspects barged into the shop located on the first floor while two others waited at the parking lot on motorcycles. Supt Tey said all the suspects were wearing helmets and black clothing. He added that no one was injured during the robbery and the case was being investigated under Section 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for gang and armed robbery.
