A violent, apparently road-rage fuelled confrontation between a group of motorcyclists popping wheelies and two people in a vehicle on an Ontario highway ended in a fiery crash after the car rolled over on Thursday night. During the assault, the other motorcyclists continued to damage the Volkswagen Golf and the man drove away, leaving the woman on the ground. With the help of witnesses, the man was able to get out of the car, Schmidt said. RelatedPolice charged the 22-year-old driver, who is currently in hospital and being treated for head injuries, was charged with possession of drugs and dangerous driving, driving under suspension, and violating novice driver restrictions. The woman, who was later picked up by Peel Regional Police, is not currently facing any charges, Schmidt said.
