Engaging the brain and mind is vital in helping young gymnasts achieve their peak performance, says former gold medalist rhythmic gymnast Sarina Sundara Rajah. Because of this, the Sarina Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (SRGC) has implemented the Peak Performance Academy (PPA) training programme during the pandemic. Sarina Sundara Rajah is founder of Sarina Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and also co-founder of SynapseCloud. Challenges of the pandemicInitially, they did face challenges teaching rhythmic gymnastics online. The core training of rhythmic gymnastics training of the body is merged with peak performance programmes of the mind that cover daily habits, behaviour, and thinking.
