The last and final release of the now 25 YO Rhetoric was in December 2018. Rhetoric 20 YO (45% ABV), 21 YO (45.1% ABV), 22 YO (45.2% ABV), 23 YO (45.3% ABV), 24 YO (45.4% ABV) and 25 YO (45.5% ABV), 750 ml. The older whiskies (24 YO and 25 YO) are smoother, with an almost waxy like flavor note at the end. In other words, time would not have been kind to Rhetoric whiskey. Rhetoric is a one-of-a-kind whiskey, with a rich historical pedigree that is a metaphor for the history of American bourbon.
