Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the Los Angeles Times has been working to honor the best of the best through our new high school sports awards. Winners were measured by factors such as statistics, achievements, team success and character. Honorable mention spots reserved for those who competed in different sports than the winners. Presenting the first “Preps: Best of the Times” showcase, honoring our elite 11 award winners.
