Head of Communication and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Energy, Nana Kofi Oppong Damoah revealed this on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Tuesday. The hacked pylon, near the head office of GRIDCo, which transmits power from Karpower and AKSA to the national grid, he noted, was installed seven months ago. Nana Kofi Oppong Damoah said bolts and nuts holding one of the pylons together had been removed by the saboteurs. “Workers of GRIDCo reported to the site on Monday only to discover that the pylon had been hacked down, this is very strange,” he stressed.
