Retired secretary prefers pen and paper over computersJohn Hawkins/Stuff Linda Huffadine was the Balfour Gun Club's secretary for 27 years. For all that time she used pen and paper to document club business, instead of a computer. One of her many memories will be when the Balfour range was used for the New Zealand and South Island Olympic Qualifying Championships in January and February. New secretary Mandy Unwin will move the club into the computer age with her work being done into a data bank. The administrator says the Balfour range is renowned for giving shooters good visibility.
