ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba can resign if he wants to, party national chairman John Mbadi has said. Budalang'i MP Ababu threatened to quit his post on Saturday while Funyula MP Paul Otuoma resigned from his position as vice chairman vice chairman. He has been accused of not following proper procedure in safeguarding ODM, leaders saying his activities are aimed at bringing down the party. They said they want a secretary general who can create activities and policies that support the growth of the opposition party. Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma and ODM Youth league chairman John Ketora said Ababu relinquished his position long time ago and that the party should seek his replacement.
