Health officials announced today that residents from three more residential buildings will have to undergo mandatory testing, after 85 Covid patients were diagnosed in Hong Kong. The Centre for Health Protection said as of 12am today, it has recorded 85 additional confirmed coronavirus cases – seven imported and 78 local – bringing the tally to 8,238 cases. Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan, head of the Centre for Health Protection's Communicable Disease Branch, said of the fresh local cases today, 51 were linked to previous local infections and 27 with untraceable sources. Of the three buildings, six were infected from five units at Shek Wing House, while eight were infected from four units at Yat Lai House. Block A of Ming Wah Dai Ha also saw six infected from four units.
