According to the Kudlu, Hosapalya, Harlur, Somasundarapalya, Parangipalya Residents’ Welfare Association (KHHSP), which claims to represent residents affected by the KCDC plant, protests held in October 2015 and March 2017 did not yield any results; while, the January 15 target set by the Joint Action Team to make the plant odour-free has not been met.
