Every month, the Village of Summerhill residents teach fishing at a different Villages pond. DiSanto spent much of the morning clinic teaching techniques for rigging plastic worms on a fishing pole. DiSanto and Husson started offering the monthly clinics when they realized few of the club’s newer members fished ponds in The Villages. He was inspired to learn more about fishing after friends he golfed with talked him into joining them on fishing trips. “I play golf with people who do a lot of pond fishing, and they say it’s a ball and they’ve caught a lot of fish.”Newcomers aren’t the only ones coming to the clinics.
