Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s role in this regard is most notable,” he said while inaugurating the four-storey academic building of Jessore Upashahar Mohila Degree College on Wednesday. “In continuation of the ongoing development works, the eye-catching four-storey academic building of the college has been inaugurated,” he observed. The college authorities said construction of the two-storey building of the academic building started at an estimated cost of Tk1.09 crore in November, 2015. Sources in the college said the college imparts education to higher secondary and honours level students. The college principal Professor Harunur Rashid and his deputy Dr Shahnaz Parvin, among others, were present during the inauguration.
