The 26-year-old, who was on her first day of monthly cycle, said to have the toughest day on duty due to the “miserable” condition of make-shift toilets for women there. Another woman constable, who was on duty to manage the crowd in the visitors area, said that she too has had a hard day. Most of the proposed facilities for women are still on the paper while funds under the SBM lie unutilised. According to SBM guidelines, there must be a toilet complex available at a distance of every one kilometre.
